Montana Job Search app for iPhone and iPad

The Montana Job Search complements the http://www.jobs.mt.gov website. It allows job seekers to search for jobs, learn how to apply for jobs, and update their account settings. The mobile app provides greater convenience for seekers to utilize features already proven successful by the website and Job Services offices.

The mobile application is primarily a job search tool to help job seekers browse jobs listed in the Department of Labor & Industry’s job order database. Job seekers can view jobs that are entered by Job Service staff, jobs automatically entered from job order lists, jobs entered by employers online, and jobs entered through the employer mobile app.

Job seekers have four ways to search for jobs:

1. View jobs in their immediate area based on location
2. Search by keyword and/or miles from a zip code
3. Use previously created search criteria from www.jobs.mt.gov
4. View jobs in previously created lists from the app or www.jobs.mt.gov

After running a search, job seekers will be able to:
1. View the job title, employer profile and job salary
2. Mark jobs as favorites or not interested
3. Click on the job for more details
4. Share the job via text or social media
5. Update basic account settings including contact information, social media sites, and notification preferences.

This service is offered free of charge to Montana citizens by the Workforce Services Division of the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. The mobile app, website, and Job Service offices throughout the state provide a combined service to job seekers to help them find their best match based on their skills, desires, and the current job climate. Our goal is to provide each job seeker the level of care and attention they need to prepare them to enter the current job market and be successful in their next job.
